Accessibility statement
A registry about transparency should be usable by everyone. Our target is WCAG 2.1 level AA.
Last updated: 11 July 2026
1. Our commitment
AIGiner S.L. wants thehumanbehind.com to be usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology. Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
2. Conformance status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA: it has been built and self-assessed against the guidelines, but has not yet undergone a formal third-party audit. We prefer to say that honestly rather than claim a level we have not certified.
3. Measures in place
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and landmarks on every page.
- A "skip to content" link at the top of every page.
- Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, including the dropdown menus, the mobile menu and the cookie settings dialog (with
aria-expandedstates and Escape to close). - Colour contrast designed for AA: gold is used only for large accents and buttons with dark text, never for small text on white.
- Animations and scroll effects disabled for users with
prefers-reduced-motion. - Text alternatives for meaningful images and icons; decorative icons hidden from assistive technology.
- Correct
langattributes and paired English/Spanish versions of every page. - A responsive layout that supports zoom up to 200% without loss of content.
4. Known limitations
- Some legal and documentation pages are long; we are progressively adding in-page structure to ease navigation.
- The registry platform (accounts, records) is a separate application; its accessibility is being worked on to the same target.
- No formal audit has been carried out yet; one is planned as the product matures.
5. Feedback and contact

Write to hello@thehumanbehind.com (see the contact page for the current status of our mailboxes) or reach us through the channels on the feedback page. Please describe the page and the problem; we will respond as soon as we can.
