The Human Behind is a public registry where real people declare their AI avatars, clones and voices — and put their name behind them. Searching is free for everyone; registering takes minutes.
What The Human Behind is
- A public registry of declarations: a person states that an avatar is theirs and accepts responsibility for it.
- Evidence anyone can check: a THB number, a sealed UTC date and a SHA-256 fingerprint with a public recipe.
- Free to search, always — with an open API.
- Two levels: Registered (free, green seal) and Verified (from September, gold seal).
- An official or government registry — it is independent and voluntary.
- A certificate of legal compliance: registering does not by itself fulfil legal obligations.
- A content moderation service or an arbiter of disputes.
- A biometric database: we never store ID documents or biometric data.
Why now
On 2 August 2026, the transparency obligations of the European AI Act — Article 50 — become generally applicable. Whoever publishes AI-generated or manipulated content must disclose it visibly.
The law demands transparency, but it does not create any public place to put a name on record. That gap is why this registry exists: an independent, voluntary place where responsibility is declared before it is questioned.

Who is behind it
The Human Behind is a product of AIGiner S.L., an AI product studio based in Barcelona. We ask people to put their name behind their avatars, so it is only fair to put ours behind this registry: AIGiner S.L., Gran Via de Carles III 98, 08028 Barcelona.

Minimum data
We store the minimum the record needs. Never your ID document; your email is never public.
Public by design
Free search, an open API and a public hash recipe. Evidence that does not require taking our word for it.

Built in Barcelona, on infrastructure in European regions, under the GDPR.
